Info
Reception
Based on what the isntructors said, it is a massive and impressive showcase that they have never seen anyone attempt and I am insane for making it a reality spacially when I didn't use any python code.
Research
To do this, I had to create everything from scratch. I had to look into how games handled collision systems. How to make progrmaing work in this node base system and so on. Most of the research was me translating how game functionalities could be transfered into a sequence of nodes in TouchDesigner.
My role
For this project I was the director, desigenr and "programer". I directed the 3D modelr on how to put the room together, the general layout of the maps and make everything run in TouchDesigner. On top of that I comunicated with the developers of Ion Fury to get permission to use the assets and how to extradt the files from the game.
